Poor presentation will kill a product quicker than almost anything else except maybe being anywhere other than page 1 of Google.

Presentation of your product is another important cog in the whole process. Photographing and then optimizing the image to put on your website can be a time consuming process. If you don’t have any skill with a program like Adobe Photoshop, then you will need to pay someone to get the images to an acceptable standard. School kids are generally experts at things like Photoshop and you can employ them at low cost. I do all my own photography and optimization.

I’ll run through some of what I do.

Whenever I have an image of a product I like to put it in a photo that shows it in action. This is a great way to sell a new product.

The new reverse Drum Vac that I created for the Egyptian company started life as a standard drum vac, as in the image below, shown once I remove the background.
